I'm particularly thinking of glazing and NMM, but anything else good for someone who can already vaguely competently slap paint on models but wants to get better would be appreciated. ruarl@RexMagenta I think you will get a lot from the book "The Art of Tommie Soule." Tommie has been teaching people to paint in person for more than 20 years, and the book gives the reader a strong framework for understanding their painting, and answering the kinds of questions you have. Disclaimer: Tommie is a good friend, and I helped out with the book. I don't benefit from sales, though.
