Ancient World Fantasy

@KuudereKun Interesting piece, thank you. I think there’s a possible extension to your argument to fantasy #TTRPGs where most also follow the European middle ages model. Notable exceptions being the long out of print #Bushido, and the explicitly Bronze Age inspired #RuneQuest / #Glorantha.
@arcadiagt5 Thank you, I'll look into those Games.
@KuudereKun you’re welcome. However, although #RuneQuest is currently in print with a fabulous starter set, #Bushido went out of print in the 90s, so I wish you the best of luck in tracking down a copy.
@arcadiagt5 Are then are stories told in other mediums set in their universes?
@KuudereKun I believe that there are some #Glorantha stories that have been published, but I don’t know where to get them. #Bushido? Dunno. It was an 80s / 90s #TTRPG from a company that was never particularly popular in the market, so I doubt that there was much, if anything, for them.

@arcadiagt5 @KuudereKun
There were some outstanding stories included in some of the RuneQuest supplemental works. Funny, entertaining, and clever. Nothing like most of the game related fiction of the time.

I remember that one of the stories was called "The Smell of A Rat".

Old RQ and Bushido material is generally available via torrent.

@arcadiagt5 @Quasit Thank you both.
@KuudereKun @Quasit You’re welcome! Happy to help!
