watching the new Linus Tech Tips video on Linux and already he's nailed it on the head with distros and choice paralysis/pressure. IDK if that was my case exactly for distro-hopping, but I've been very happy with CachyOS atm.

Honestly using an LLM is probably better than going for a listicle or consulting humans (Linux users are VERY opinionated) but you need to give it as much info as you can. What your specs are, what peripherals you have, what your use case is, you get the idea.

immediately Linus ran into a problem trying to install Pop!_OS 💀

in fairness, he doesn't blame it on Pop!_OS, he blames it on the drive. Could be anything at this point. (have not finished the vid)

Bazzite has the newer installer from Fedora, based. Probably the cleanest installer I've seen.
