Over on Blacksky, they've gone and replaced the regular Bluesky moderation tool (Ozone) with their own system and it looks so cool. I will never have to deal with this, but it's nice that there's an empathetic and community-based approach to moderation tooling like this.
Fedi could learn so much from this lol, from what I have heard and know of AP, moderating on the fediverse is a fucking nightmare and turned me off from ever self-hosting a fedi instance.

If you're going to tell me that Linux desktop is for [insert your favourite ideology here], congrats! You just found out the reason Linux is still in the single digits for market share despite Linux being a solid kernel for literally everything else!
There's a stark contrast between the pragmatism of the Linux kernel and the ideological slop going on in the Linux desktop - and not just political, either. Even shit like "we don't want to be X11" parroted by Wayland/GNOME devs has resulted in the Linux desktop regressing in functionality.
