Burger King AI Tracks If Workers Sound 'Friendly' Enough

Who asked for this?

Comic Sands
@georgetakei don't care if they're friendly.
@BLTpizza @georgetakei Exactly. I recently called an ISP and asked about the product and process. And me and the guy on the phone really were like: "Can I finish my sentence?!" "Just shut up for a moment and listen." It went a bit back and forth, but at the end I booked the service. I can handle that kind of "unfriendliness" better than the constant polite chatter that does not answer any questions.

@georgetakei

Management, because they want more reasons to claim you are a poor performer.

@georgetakei What they want is to hire machines. That's why they're using them to train people to be less human.

@georgetakei

Not me, I just asked for a burger.

I don't care if it is service with a smile or a snarl, as long as it is service with a burger.

@georgetakei

The AI companies desperately claiming they can deliver value/benefit from their Pyramid scheme

@georgetakei If they do research on the area they are in and pay a living wage accordingly, then this isn't bad but we know they won't so that
@georgetakei Idgaf what they sound like as long as it’s functionally correct.
@georgetakei This is a corporate abuse of AI. This is exactly why big corporations, should have no control over AI whatsoever. Capitalism ruins everything.
@georgetakei I already stay away from BK because their food sucks. This treatment of their employees gives me another reason.
@georgetakei Oh, this is just the start.
