I enjoy salmon just everyone else.

But today, I reached peak Salmin love with what I had on the fridge:

Smoked salmon, and pico de gallo made with purple onions, tomato, jalapeño, capers, lime and red vinegar.

@Migueldeicaza I really like salmon in different forms: Swedish gravad lax (cured salmon), cold-smoked salmon and also warm-smoked salmon. Cold-smoked and cured salmon are especially great when spread out on buttered rye bread 😌
@Arcticulate one of my favorite versions was cooked in some kind of strawberry sauce - never had the pleasure of having it again. Hoping to find it on a menu before I die
@Migueldeicaza Strawberry? I didn’t expect to hear that, but I can imagine it being a good fit, actually. Was it possibly combined with cured salmon, then, if you remember? Because that one is both sweet and salty, plus it’s slippery like an eel and I can see some texture similarities with strawberries 😌
