I don't think the UK media have made nearly enough noise about the US Navy sinking an *unarmed* Iranian warship and then, in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions, leaving them to drown.

This is a heinous war crime which the media would be rightly up in arms about if any country that wasn't nominally an "ally" had done it.

Do you know what's the story about the convention you're citing and submarines, given that it was ratified after WWII so after Laconia "incident"? Did everyone pretend it didn't happen?

@robryk The present US regime believes they are above the law and will never have to answer for their crimes. They all but said so at the start of this, gloating about not having to worry about ROE and all that bother -- you know, all the stuff that's supposed to prevent and disourage war crimes.
