Il 4 marzo, la fregata da guerra iraniana IRIS Dena è affondata a circa 40-50 miglia nautiche dalla costa sud di Galle, un importante punto di passaggio marittimo in Sri Lanka. Sulle navi inizialmente si trovavano almeno 180 persone, tutte in ritorno dall’International Fleet Review 2026, un’esercitazione navale svoltasi a Visakhapatnam, India, quando hanno lanciato un segnale di soccorso. I don't think the UK media have made nearly enough noise about the US Navy sinking an *unarmed* Iranian warship and then, in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions, leaving them to drown.

This is a heinous war crime which the media would be rightly up in arms about if any country that wasn't nominally an "ally" had done it.
