Where were the commanders and advisors who would have normally worked out a proper strategy complete with multiple backup plans for multiple possible scenarios?

Exactly! They do not believe they need a plan. They believe they will be witness to the second coming through their actions. Leadership at Pentagon and in multiple commands across all branches has been subsumed by christofascist cult led by Doug Wilson. We should be very afraid.

@GenXLife @HamonWry when I heard on military chatter that Hegseth had fired the entire Iran expert team of planners because they kept saying invading Iran would not go well, I knew we were fucked. And then all the reports of commanders telling troops we were on a mission from god... And I have to wonder where the proud tradition of fragging has gone. 🤷🏻‍♀️
