James Widman@catsalad @Mannanan I don't know whether this would work, but: what if we had something like hot-wheels tracks, except instead of being made for hot wheels, they're made for cats.
Like you'd have track that's about the same width as that carpet, and have it banked for curves, etc. Maybe some loops, spirals, and so on. The question is: would the cats maintain enough speed to stay on the track throughout a loop?

Yay! I love the cat climbing wall.
Reminds me of a cat we had...except he zoomed in, launched himself right over the back of the couch, hitting the wall behind and dropping straight down. He would lurk under the couch for a bit while he decided if he wanted to zoom out and repeat, or walk out dignified as though nothing had happened.
We literally would not let guests sit on that end of the couch, because it was most fun to do if you were launching over a human. 🙀🐈🐈⬛️
