Nerds! Is there a location tracker (like a physical tag) that I could put in a backpack and attach to an app so my family could see where I was at any given point in time? Ideally I'd like one that draws a fun little map with my route. AirTags? Do they draw a little map or just say current location?

[NOTE: I am not recommending anyone else does this, and it won't be permanent, I just have a limited use case for which I would like to use one of these things]

FYI, as someone asked me to update. It looks like this is the closest to what i need - https://safetagtracking.com/products/safetag-mini-4g?currency=GBP&language=en&country=GB but I can only share location with others for 3 days and ideally I need a permanent share on it (which I will eventually turn off obvs). So if anyone has any info on something like this but with longer-term sharing and/or better battery life hit me up

@girlonthenet I *think* the Transcontinental race uses https://www.findmespot.com/en-us/products-services/spot-trace but it's geared to very remote usage and satellite comms. I can't find info on the battery life.
