SMD Capacitor Toilet Paper Dispenser for Electronics Bench with optional Magnet by RandomHacks

SMD Electrolytic Capacitor Toilet Paper Dispenser with Twist LockI work with electronics and use toilet paper daily to clean soldering flux and thermal paste. A roll of toilet paper on the bench, however, looks quite bad and out of placeโ€ฆ so what better than a huge SMD electrolytic capacitor toilet paper dispenser? ๐Ÿ˜…VersionsSmall โ€“ for toilet rolls up to 9 cm wide and 9.5 cm in diameterBig โ€“ for toilet rolls up to 11 cm wide and 11 cm in diameterMagnet MountThereโ€™s a pocket on the bottom piece for a 30 ร— 20 ร— 5 mm neodymium magnet, allowing you to attach the dispenser to a vertical metal surface.You can purchase suitable magnets here: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c3HHVdsTMy magnets were slightly smaller than the advertised 30 ร— 20 ร— 5 mm, so I made the pocket exactly that size and they fit perfectly.Check your magnets before printing to make sure they fit.BTW: I printed the big capacitor first and used a fillet instead of a chamfer on the top edge, which turned out poorly when printing upside down.This has already been fixed in the design, so your print will look good, just like the small version.

@DM_Ronin A Crapacitor surely?

@DM_Ronin

Make the paper wet and attach electrodes. I wonder what the capitance would be? ๐Ÿ˜‚

@DM_Ronin Design alternative: mounted vertically, open on the top to be a tissue dispenser.
@DM_Ronin how is it attached to a cupboard? surface mount soldering?
@murz no, the cupboard wall on the picture is metal so it's attached using neodymium magnet
@DM_Ronin good enough. thanks!
