I was mad at my spouse for sweeping up the fallen oak leaves off the patio. But it turns out to be much easier to #sheetmulch with leaves you grab from a bin vs sweeping them up myself. Good bye #oxalis. #neverendingbattle

The amount of#oxalis I pulled is about equal in volume to the leaves, so I don't think he'll even notice if he looks in the bin. Lol
I like the #oak leaves on the patio because it's fun to turn useless concrete into a giant birdfeeder. The little birds all peck through the leaves looking for bugs. Oaks *are* giant birdfeeders, because they're the host plant for 150+ butterflies and moths. They last eggs on oaks, which hatch into caterpillars. Those caterpillars are what feed baby birds. Babies aren't going to your bird feeder! It takes some 900 caterpillars for one nest of birds! #nativeplants #gardening
