@256 I remember this dropping and really fell in love with the 3D dock and metallic bar at the top... This was actually not long after I tried Mac for the first time with a black MacBook running Tiger at TESCO Extra. though firmly only on Windows XP at the time with nearly every machine (outside of the RiscPCs running RISC OS).

The design still kicks ass compared to most modern design (though I'd admit there's some elements to icons using "Liquid Glass" that does appeal to me. 😅).

@256 I began using macOS at work during the latter half of the Leopard release cycle. It was already magical, but when Snow Leopard dropped I was certain I wanted to migrate. My first decent paycheck went into a MacBook Pro.

@256 OMG I remember dual booting MacOS Classic and OS X. This beautiful and accessible iconography ended after Mavericks 10.9. Since then Apple really messed up the UI. Since Liquid Glass was introduced, even tweaking the accessibility settings don’t suffice anymore to bring back the clean and straight forward interface look from those days.
