Apple is messing up its once flawlessly working apps like #Pages , #Numbers , #Keynote (and lots of other apps) with AI crap. I’m NOT HAPPY with that.

So, some weeks ago, I started to port a lot of my presentation stuff from #Keynote to #TexLaTeX – and I must say, it’s working like a charm. I’m using the BEAMER class, and the results are gorgeous. Of course, it’s a little more work initially, but alterations at a later stage are easily and swiftly administered. Great! #noai

@sebastianhahn I restored the previous versions of the apps from my Time Machine backup and then turned off automatic updates.

I resist upgrading to the new versions. They‘ve been put into a subscription, and I don’t intend to pay for them on a monthly/yearly basis.

@sebastianhahn One of the selling points of Macs was that they had great office software out of the box.

No one wants to be perpetually nagged to subscriptions for AI slop.
