Morning Mastodonians!

My front steps had quite a surprise for me yesterday. Snow covered the bottom three steps, so I ignored the top two—unaware they were coated in black ice. And down I went, bumping down two of the stone stairs. Ouch! Luckily, no major damage, but my ankle still hurts. At least the ice on the branches was pretty. Not so bad this morning, just frost-covered cars.

More crappy weather expected #Today. I love it when the National Weather Service warnings mention every possible type of precipitation, including up to 6 inches of snow. And I’m going to have to head out into the worst of it tomorrow morning for hockey. Besides that, not much else is new happening. I should have taken the dogs for a walk yesterday, but maybe I can squeeze them in today. There is still so much snow on the ground.

I listened to the first half of Keith Olbermann‘s podcast this morning on the way into the office. Holy crap, was that scary. He talked about military leaders' speechifying about Armageddon times. And how the Orange Dirtbag is God‘s chosen one. And can you believe the secretary of dumbass whining about the national media focusing on soldiers' deaths just to make the Orange Fuckwad look bad? Have you ever thought about why it might make him look bad?

As I said, I am back at world headquarters for the #SaltMine. It is for a good reason, though. I am getting another free lunch. And we are going to play some #BoardGames too. I brought Take Five and a couple of Mystery Rummy games. I got access to a secret lab yesterday, and I will go down and try to log in today.
