Just finished up another painting project. A T’au XV26 kill team with 5 stealth suits and their support drones. #killteam #WarhammerCommunity #miniaturepainting
@SensorLock uv light painting minis is sick, wow
@yugthebug I had to be really careful with the fluorescent paint because any spatters or drips are super obvious under the uv
@SensorLock I recently discovered that for fine details where you cant splatter paint, like eyes or probably the uv paint is really easy if you use a toothpick
@yugthebug I’ve used quilting pins before, and have Pigma Micron 003 pen I use for pupils - 0.15mm tip
@SensorLock even better, im just a beginner who is skeptical about spending money on equipment
@yugthebug the thing I put off too long when I started was a wet palette. Costs a bit up front but will save so much paint over time.
@SensorLock yeah but you can make your own im pretty sure, I should make one, I think u just use melamine foam and a container dont you?
@yugthebug yep, should be easy to make. I use a Masterson’s Sta-Wet, which was around $20.
