Everyone has the muscle - it protects our hearing from loud sounds. (think: ear sphincter) However, like crossing other sensory inputs, this reflex can be falsely triggered. My left ear muscle beats to the percussion I make w/ my left hand, after a short entrainment period. #science #neurodiverse
