@jerrod @jsnell The A18 Pro has roughly double the single core performance of the M1.

SSD speed might be better but we have no way to know yet.

Beyond that, yeah, seems largely like the 2020 M1 Air?

@westacular @jerrod @jsnell yep. But all modern parts so they can update it as needed and keep it up. The m1 had not changed at all since it came out five years ago.

You get the new faster chips, and Apple gets lower costs for using non-obsolete components and designs.
