Waterside breakfast in Amsterdam was sponsored by my rules on zero food waste and the UK rules on cheese from the EU.

My first time through the renovated Eurostar terminal at Amsterdam Centraal.
I arrived at the recommended time as did everyone else, so long queues. Brits getting their Schengen exit stamp is the rate determining step. Even so, 25 minutes for all the security felt ok.

Now aboard and fearing the curse of first class.
I went for Eurostar Plus for £50, to get the food and maybe some sleep if the night train wasn't smooth. (It was, perhaps related to the delay.)
Behind me is an Aussie having a deeply tedious call about AI data centres. "I have 12 megs in Germany, can it scale? There's a 50 meg power shell in Colorado. Who wants 4 megs in Dubai?"
Also in earshot, an American who doesn't know whether she broke another person's wrist when she fell on an escalator.
