Calling it Filthy Human Hands is exactly the sort of rebellious whimsy we need.

If you want to swipe the graphic and put one together, I'll add a contrib folder to the repo and give you credit/links/love.

I was already planning on creating a list of projects using the license.

This seems like a logical evolution once we have a few projects playing along.

I'll start getting things like the roadmap into the repository as soon as I have some computer touching time. Currently preparing to move my bones in the theater a bit.

I love this idea.

I don't know whether we aught to put out the heads up when organizing more and more ways to broadcast involvement that it comes with the risk of additional botscraping attempts. I've at least heard rumor that attempts are being made of specifically feeding AIs media that's been labeled as human made, to offset the bots training on bot-created data spiral. (And we *know* this license is likely unenforceable)

I'm of a conflicted opinion because I want to be encouraging people with this, not discouraging. I just also don't want a webring getting botswarmed and that discouraging people itself.

@SocialGaff @RussSharek @s0 That reminds me, I keep MEANING to get an .htaccess file put together to block known AI scrapers/bots/everything.

Which I would, ofc, be very happy to throw in the pot for distribution and collective maintenance, if that would fit in the project repo? (I’ve never used GitHub for anything, so I’m very fuzzy on how it works. )

@RussSharek OK so I found a pixel art app that looked very nice, and I spent a bunch of time on this, and then discovered the app won’t export as a simple bitmapped image? My pixel perfect 88x31 badge will only export blurry. 😂😭

But, s’okay. It screenshot OK, and I can find a better app to trace it in. I think I need to tweak the hand a bit more anyhow… but whaddya think? @SocialGaff

@RussSharek @SocialGaff Finding new software to do old things is always a process… I have a hunch I just need to find an app with a worse user interface. If I want to make 90s gfx, I need the app to be 90s clunky. 😂

I TOTALLY understand. I'm answering this toot on a command line because GUIs make my primate brain spin. :)

Which is why I love the fact that both types of tools exist.

Use what works for you.

For the record, I do use a GUI client as well sometimes. I find I get overwhelmed a lot faster, and I'm probably less eloquent when I try and type with my thumbs. :D
