We made a ridiculous thing with our silly human brains, using our filthy human hands, in order to inspire our messy human hearts.

It is with strong encouragement, and a few simple rules, that we invite you to use your brains, hands, and hearts to play along with us.

@RussSharek @s0  Oh I love this so much.

@mivox @s0

Thank you!

@RussSharek @s0 Already know the first thing I’m going to use it for, when I update the ol website this weekend:

@mivox @s0

YES!!! <3

It occurs to me that a little web icon for #FilthyHumanHands might be fun.

@RussSharek @s0 That handprint would translate so nicely to an old-timey pixel art badge!

@mivox @s0

If you want to swipe the graphic and put one together, I'll add a contrib folder to the repo and give you credit/links/love.

BTW, your shop is wonderful. If you feel like trading stickers with a clown, let me know!

@RussSharek @s0 I used to love making pixel badges so much, I’ll definitely have a play with that! Thank you!

And I’m totally down to trade stickers too, updating my stickers page is on the to-do list for the weekend!

@mivox @s0

Can't wait to see what you make with our silliness!

@RussSharek @s0 I am still obsessing about this... Could there be a FHH makers/artists webring? I hear they’re starting to make a comeback…

@mivox @RussSharek @s0

I love this idea.

I don't know whether we aught to put out the heads up when organizing more and more ways to broadcast involvement that it comes with the risk of additional botscraping attempts. I've at least heard rumor that attempts are being made of specifically feeding AIs media that's been labeled as human made, to offset the bots training on bot-created data spiral. (And we *know* this license is likely unenforceable)

I'm of a conflicted opinion because I want to be encouraging people with this, not discouraging. I just also don't want a webring getting botswarmed and that discouraging people itself.

@SocialGaff @RussSharek @s0 That reminds me, I keep MEANING to get an .htaccess file put together to block known AI scrapers/bots/everything.

Which I would, ofc, be very happy to throw in the pot for distribution and collective maintenance, if that would fit in the project repo? (I’ve never used GitHub for anything, so I’m very fuzzy on how it works.  )
