dog.baldr@aphyr speaking from experience, it’s because the people calling tech support are too dumb to ask their basic question to the internet. If I had a dollar for every user I’ve directed to go to a website, and the response I get is “I’ve got a list of search results in front of me,” I could have retired long before my burnout crippled me.
