@ErikJonker Is it just me or is this something no one needs to buy?

Even if you're BP or Shell or whatever if a tanker or two of yours gets blown up, the US Navy is *still* going to shuttle you through the Strait of Hormuz and it'll be considered a national emergency if any more than a couple of those tankers get taken out.

And very few companies are likely to risk their tankers and freighters in that seaway in any case, "insurance" or no. The credibility of that is, shall we say, open to question.
