We're, at Adobe in San Jose California, hiring someone to replace the infra lynchpin who got bored/frustrated with constant "and now you have to update x thing in y too-short timescale!" and switched to an AI org
Looking for someone who has made Jenkins not suck so much, who can kindly answer endless "why is my build failing" questions and make things that make it more obvious why the build is falling, who can interface with the team that claims they're making an Adobe-wide build system that doesn't suck and report back on if that is ever going to happen, who isn't daunted by getting into the guts of Groovy code, who can find the key people in other shattered infra offerings and make friends with them
Manager seems like a good guy, known for instant answers on slack and course correcting when the instant answer isn't quite right
