cat /dev/urandom | base64 | head -c 12

@fuzzygroup @ai6yr if you are looking for an equally high quality password that uses only characters that are easy to distinguish using a sans serif font:

openssl rand -hex 9

This and the -base64 variant are my go to when I don’t have a password manager handy or I will never actually use the password.
