An experiment.
@gknauss @jerzone My dog’s head popped up upon hearing the snap. But then she huffed and laid her head back down when she realized it wasn’t me who made the noise.
@gknauss my cat would come running if I did that. He LOVES walks

@gknauss How cute is that 😊

With my dog it’s the sound of me starting to peel a carrot 😁

@gknauss
Nice dog character
How were you able to train it like that
@namaragadison Oh, it wasn’t intentional at all. He just assumes anything that’s been previously connected to a walk — the leash clasp, me standing up from my desk, two o’clock in the afternoon — means we’re headed out and he’ll come charging in.
@gknauss Pavlovian enjoyment is still very enjoyable - also to watch!
@gknauss I think Pavlov was onto something

@gknauss did that cute dog just put the lead around their own neck? helpful!

wrong end of the lead, but, points for effort?

@fishidwardrobe When I get the leash on his collar, he’ll turn his head around to bite it, and give it a tug, like, c’mon, man! Let’s gooo!
@CStamp @gknauss Hehehe lololol! Happy dog.

A hand makes a single click sound with the clip end of a dog’s leash. Within seconds, a dog comes scampering into frame, excited for a walk.
