me: ,p?YG;qtChe?DAh@&o]`zg"k,
website: sorry, not strong enough. needs to contain a number.
@Mara to anyone trying to guess my passwords, the last character is ‘1’
@SaveTheOkapi @Mara only if you were not required to rotate it, right? Because then it is "2" 😉
@musicmatze @SaveTheOkapi surely you should use ⇂ in that case.
@serriadh @musicmatze @SaveTheOkapi Wait, I thought that would make "1" the second-to-last character?
@SaveTheOkapi @Mara Sometimes mine end with ! (if there are symbol requirements)
@Mara password managers are quite good at using all of the criteria you give em (at least keepass)
@Mara

@Mara what it means to say is there is strength in numbers
The Password Game

Please choose a password

@Mara

also websites: sorry, password must be at most 5 characters long and can only contain letters a-Z, prime numbers, a single single quote and half an ampersand.

@Mara just wait until you've successfully changed your account password, but then you can only log in with the old password.

That's currently happening with Ubisoft accounts, they're redesigning the account page, so I changed my password (only possible via the new beta UI) multiple times, but I keep having to log in with the old password. Thank fuck I have 2FA, because this is horrible.

And yes, they have abysmal password requirements, it must be between 8 and 16 characters, requires at least a number and a symbol.

@Mara Error: New password must start with a capital letter and end with a period.

website: can not have two repeating numbers

@Mara

You'd think a computer would know that A, C, and D are all perfectly-acceptable numbers.

@Mara Or when a password is a modest 40 characters and is deemed too long.
