Gavin CampbellWhile trying to figure out why my Unifi Protect stopped updating the Home Assistant entities I came across this GitHub issue. Looks like it will be fixed in 2026.3. So if you suffer from it and can wait it should be fixed. I hope.
Looks like it was broken with a Unifi update.
So it looks like Unifi released an update to protect that targets this issue with Home Assistant.
"Fixed an issue where motion events were not working in Home Assistant."
Updating now.
