Here you go... looks like he must have been going too fast and failed the right turn, went through the guardrail and into that power pole there, and undoubtedly rolled off somewhere beyond the power pole. Amazing actually he didn't continue into the house beyond the power pole.

@ai6yr figured it must have been there. Westbound on Baseline is not a high guardrail dense area. The lake would have eaten his car if he was much farther on…

@mcnado Right and left turns here after long straightaways in our neighborhood do the same thing. Even worse of course are "T" intersections. Never, ever buy or rent a house or sit at a coffee shop table at the end of a T-intersection, LOL. Just like, never sit at a cafe table with a handicap parking spot and no planter or bollard in front 😬 (that one, having heard too many stories from paramedics about deaths and lower limbs lost at those tables locally).. this you know, of course.

Yup. Not so much these days (the whole neighbourhood's older), but we regularly had crashes out the front. On a hill curve, 50km/h limit. Uphill drivers would floor it in the rain—easy to spin wheels on a wet hill—& "whoops, I'm not as good as I thought", crash. Two rolled. Downhill they'd go too fast, & slide straight into the trees.

Luckily, none ended up in my yard!

And of course, a mate's drunk dad took out the (shut) hairdresser's, running straight on at the T. 🤷
