✈️ An abandoned British Airways Training Centre, England. This sprawling site is now disused, surplus to requirements, and outdated. At the heart of the complex is this Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) area.
For training cabin crew, these Boeing 737 and 747 cabin trainers were used to practice everything from meal service to emergency evacuations.

@ObsidianUrbex what an old 737… I wonder if they used a decommissioned Jurassic or an early Classic airframe to make that trainer.
The “eyebrow” windows were standard on the original 737s, and by the time the Classic era came around were optional.

The 737-100 and -200s became known as the Jurassic series once the -300, -400, and -500s were called the Classics, once Boeing released the “Next Generation” series (-700s/-800s). Quite the nicknaming saga. Too bad when they named some “Next Generation” they didn’t also call the first models The Original Series.
