It’s really clear that the unprovoked joint Israeli US attack on #Iran breaks international law.

#Starmer refuses to admit this fact…and lets US use UK airbases.

He’s trying to claim as Ed Davey rightly points out that offensive actions are defensive.

He’s avoided Parliamentary and media scrutiny by making a pre-recorded announcement…so far so very #Trump.

Where next?

UK to allow US to use British bases for defensive strikes against Iran

Keir Starmer says the UK has not been involved in the US-Israeli strikes, but warned that 200,000 British people are in countries being targeted by Iran

The Guardian

#Starmer right now is clinging to the leadership of the #Labour party by his fingernails.

He’s not a popular man with the electorate as evidenced by the crushing Labour defeat in Gorton and Denton by-election.

He’s not popular with his party. His rivals are circling.

The small centre right cult that propelled him to power, #LabourTogether has been rumbled…McSweeney has gone along with Josh Simons this weekend.

Convenient timing for war then…not the done thing to change leader at this time

@JugglingWithEggs McSweenet and Simons might be 'gone', but they'll be pulling as many strings behind the scenes as they were before, they just won't be taking a Government paycheque for it.

@beemoh

Everything about McSweeney and Simon’s behaviour to date would suggest you are right …if anything in their current status of being in the wilderness, they will have less scrutiny upon them. To Starmer’s benefit, no doubt.
