@JamesK @LilPecan Nice. You keep chartreuse on hand? Wow. I’ve basically only seen it in bars — in my whole life. I’d never bought it myself either, until this week. Love the flavor, though. The first thing you taste (or smell).

@schamspeare @LilPecan Yes, I am lucky enough to have some from before it became unobtainable in my area. I don’t make many drinks that require more than 1/4 oz, so it lasts. This drink will be an outlier. Fortunately for me 😁 my partner doesn’t like much citrus in her drinks, so I can make this exception.

@JamesK @LilPecan It's not unobtainable here, other than that the price is forbiddingly high. I decided to treat myself as I'm currently on a bit of a tour through all the cocktails I've never tried.

@schamspeare You are fortunate. It’s apparently obtainable in @LilPecan ‘s region, as well. We have state-run liquor stores here, and whenever I check there’s no stock anywhere and the clerks pretty consistently tell me that they can’t get it. On the other hand, I do still see it on back bars, so perhaps I am just not making the right friends.
