A story: At an Apple employee meeting, shortly after the first Mac Portable was introduced, they gave away a new Portable to one lucky randomly-selected attendee. This was quite the prize, as the machine sold for over $7K back then.

The winner as a rather petite woman who eagerly came to the front to receive her prize. When Jean-Louis Gassée handed the woman the Mac Portable she nearly fell over, and had to lug it off the stage with both hands.
