Remember the age verification in Leisure Suit Larry? We should just do that.

@janbeta

The age verification in Leasure Suit Larry would be a much better idea 😁

@janbeta no what was it?
@tuxicoman @janbeta questions only adults would know the answers to/had the maturity to research the answers

@elvisish @tuxicoman @janbeta To be strictly accurate, it was questions the majority of adult Americans would know at the time. Ask a European about some US TV programme 'everyone watched' and it's a bit more tricky!

Researching was more difficult then, as the public Internet wasn't a thing.

Of course, it was a Sierra game, so much of it wasn't actually worth playing even when you did get in.

@syllopsium @tuxicoman @janbeta thems fightin words, talkin about Sierra my beloved like that
@elvisish @tuxicoman @janbeta The games have their moments - but the puzzles, the parser in earlier games is utterly atrocious, and the game design masochistic.
@janbeta Ask questions from the 70s so nobody under 60 can look at porn?
@janbeta Here’s one: “Why couldn’t you print your homework out after 9pm?”
@janbeta Please no. I've fired up a copy on my NuXT and was unable to remember the answers to the questions.
