New style of hostile architecture: Stairs that fold up for the night!
New style of hostile architecture: Stairs that fold up for the night!
Does it? It looked to me like it'd be easier to sleep on the stairs if they were flat.
Is this meant to mean that I'm a white person and that, if I weren't, these fold-up stairs would not seem novel to me?
Dang. I hadn't seen this particular style in America. They have benches with bars in the middle so you can't lay down, and spikes on some surfaces. But I hadn't seen fold-up stairs before.
@MegaMichelle even as pākehā i am a little speechless at your read there. but it's no big deal.
no, with that single character, i'm directing you to draw upon it with a waxy stick.
Sorry. We just moved to mexico and everyone here hates us and it says "fucking gringos go home" on every wall. It's freaking me the heck out.
I thought you were one of these locals. Even so, I shouldn't have dumped that on you.
Yeah, the leftist activists is exactly who I had hoped to befriend here. That's who I was friends with back home. But the most visible leftist activism here is telling me they don't want me here, and I don't know how to help them with that. Like, if I really wanted to help them, I guess I'd just go home and wait for them to start throwing trans people in the concentration camps, but I'd rather not.
And I'm super triggered right now because I just went to the grocery store that's on the intersection that was the site of a "gringos go home" protest yesterday.
I better get off the internet. I need to save this stuff for my therapist instead of dumping it on random strangers on the internet.
