Just yesterday the Iranian people were very much opposed to the government of Iran. Now they are unified against a common enemy, the United States and Israel, who have started yet another illegal war.
If you want “regime change,” a term that is highly politically biased and only ever used for countries who have poor relations with the US, starting more wars is by far the most expensive, inefficient, and amoral way to do it.
And it doesn’t bode well for the ordinary Iranian citizens that one of the warmongers who have started this war is wanted by the International Court of Justice for committing war crimes, and the other war monger who has started this war is a convicted felon and a known child rapist. This is the caliber are the men who are aiming missiles at them. I am sure the Iranian people understand, if this war proceeds for any length of time, what could become of their children.
Incidentally, one of Israels “pre-emptive strikes,” also a highly politically biased term that is never applied when directed against the US or Israel, as opposed terms such as “violation of ceasefire,” or “terrorist attack,” have indeed killed 110 children already. I am tempted to link you some of the cell phone videos of the dead children, but I don’t think my readers need to see those images to understand the just how deeply amoral this war is. It must be opposed by any person with any sense of common decency.
(Can you imagine any journalist using the term “regime change” to describe removing Donald Trump from office for all of the various crimes he has committed?)
