There's a Red Flag Warning for much of southwestern Wyoming & part of the Nebraska Panhandle today (Feb 28th). There's also a High Wind Warning for the wind prone areas of southwestern Wyoming that expired at 11 am this morning.
Red Flag Warning:
Until 5 pm today. Westerly to northwesterly winds of 10-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Relative humidity as low as 10%. Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
High Wind Warning:
Expires at 11 am this morning. Winds have diminished below the threshold. However, Wind gusts up to 50 lph are still possible over the next several hours. Winds are expected to continue to slowly diminish into this evening.
Ps the pastel yellow area is indicating a Hazardous Weather Outlook which is for critical fire weather conditions for the next 7 days.
