I started with the first game in the list and wanted to finish it. It could be brutal since you start at the beginning each time you game over. I went in just trying to learn the layout and where to get items. I discovered an early secret by accident and that enabled quick progress.
Once you know what you need the game is extremely short. You only need two items to get to the boss. Half the area you explore and most of the items you find just aren't needed. That's kind of a bummer! There was a switch I couldn't reach and I guess there's nothing important over there.
The game has great old school charm without the complete bullshit of some old games. Fair jumps and reasonable combat.
