I'm having such a weird issue with IKEA's smart home app.

I'm trying to set up a DIRIGERA smart hub. It's connected to my network and the old IKEA Smart app (designed for TRÅDFRI gateways) immediately finds my DIRIGERA and tells me to open the new app.

But the new app just can't find my hub at all, no matter what I try.

So I know it's in the right network because the old app immediately finds and recognises it but the new app tries and tries and never finds anything.

I already unpaired my lights from my Hue bridge and threw that into the closet so I really need to figure this out before the night so I don't have to manually go around and turn off all my lights 😅

16th try or something, after managing to install it to a secondary phone and iPad finally helped.

Next up, connecting it to Home Assistant and replacing Hue automations with Dirigera automations.

Home Assistant is such a gem.

Since I had set up all my light related automations through zones, all I had to do to switch from Hue to DIRIGERA was to remove Hue integration and set up DIRIGERA and everything else just works(tm).

@jautero Yeah.

I tried with a different phone and it found it immediately so I was able to at least set it up. 2/3 lights also connected.

Still can't get my main phone to find it :D

@jautero Not the biggest issue though since I won't be using the app after connecting everything to Home Assistant but still weird.
