Does anyone think its possible to use traditional #leathermaking techniques with 3d printed TPU part. I'm currently testing the theory. (Currently whole punching works.)
#3dprint #Maker
@batvin3211 oh that's interesting....maybe add glue? Make it work like an iron on patch?
@Feral_3D interesting, my endgame goal is to make a pair of shoes. I've been watching some of shoe makeing videos on YouTube because I can't find the right shoes for my big hobbit clown feet. So I decided to make my own shoes with black jack and hookers.
@batvin3211 I have a good pair of shoes I made in 3d. looking to make the leather strips?
@Feral_3D I'm printing a simple pen sleeve now to see if I can stich the the material. Mabey this technique I'm testing could work for you as well.
Also what style shoe did you design.
@batvin3211 sandard sneaker. like a running shoe, rounded toe. all yours if you want it
@Feral_3D I'm looking for a slightly different shoe style. Also my shoe size is a bit too big for my ender 3 printers. I would if I could print it.
I'm working on printing the materials to assemble it with traditional shoemaking methods.
@Feral_3D looks like a snazzy pair of walkers though.
@batvin3211 I am a size 10 US. I found getting a shoeform on 3D difficult. This shoe is a good baseline to build off.
