Game 1 completed in 2026:

Project Sylpheed

A stylish take on 3D flight combat, but basically Ace Combat in space. Took a couple tries to figure out how to play it. It's more complex than I expected, and can get repetitive, but once I got the hang of it I had a blast. Glad I stuck with it.

Game 2 completed in 2026:

Soul Calibur 5

Can't decide if this counts due to earlier entries having such intriguing lore, cause there's so little here. A lackluster story mode with barely fleshed out characters that don't even have endings. At least there's a guy that conjures up a werewolf spirit.

Game 3 completed in 2026:

Blinx The Time Sweeper

This platformer has flawed mechanics, controls, and level design, which make the later stages so difficult with a brutally hard final boss rush. But I will admit the game has a charm that kept bringing me back. Enjoyed it more in short bursts.

@durocpig I like Nitrorad's reviews about it even though I haven't played it myself.
@herzenschein Definitely felt similar to how he did after beating the final boss. He was a bit generous on the overview of the game cause some of the game mechanics are kinda broken and I damn near tapped out at a couple points later in the game. I will put this up there with beating the Lost Levels as things I have done and never have to do again.
