I decided to take a look at Sket Dance because it's apparently the number one recommendation for people that like Gintama.
Hmm... Dandelion actually feels like it's trying to get closer to Gintama but the mood, references and jokes don't land often. In comparison, Sket Dance feels more unique but everything else lands.
