Just watched my first episode and I have to admit

I loved it!

I loved Holly Hunter’s character, even the cadets and the love letter to #SanFrancisco

Although I am confused. Is Starfleet Academy in San Francisco or Marin?
I don’t recognize the skyline of the city at all! The let’s go to San Francisco line did bring me to tears though. This was the first time in a very long time I felt a little optimistic. Thank you #StarTrek

@Stephenleader Starfleet Headquarters is established as being in the Presidio, so the whole HQ/Academy combination is commonly referred to as being in San Francisco though the Academy part of the overall Starfleet campus Is clearly in Marin.
