ICE OUT OF MERRIMACK.

📍 Saturday, February 21
🕛 12–2PM
📌 Merrimack Town Hall, 6 Baboosic Lake Rd.

They want to build a human warehouse in our community.
We say no.

Not in Merrimack. Not anywhere.

This is about dignity. This is about refusing to normalize cages. This is about nonviolent, collective resistance.

If you believe our neighbors deserve safety — show up.

@mass50501 Hi! You might consider including location specific tags like #NewHampshire and #NH and #NashuaNH and #ManchesterNH to help with outreach and to help build a following. #Boston probably isn't a bad idea either. Best luck!

FWIW - I'd have boosted this post if it the image had alt-text, considering accessibility is very important to me and to many on this platform. Want to see y'all be successful here and in getting #ICEOut!

@knizer Thank you! Apologies, this is a new platform for us and we're still learning it. We don't have a dedicated mod here yet. Will try to do better! If anyone is looking to help volunteer, you can join us at https://discord.mass50501.org/

@mass50501 Happy to help, and again, so glad you're choosing to prioritize non-corporate social media platforms.

It looks like you all use #zohosocial to manage multiple platforms' content. Making sure that top level social media team includes accessible image descriptions on images is the best way to make a big difference and increase overall engagement. And thoughtful hashtags help a lot on most platforms, too. A commitment to organize for a better world needs to include taking steps to making sure that the work is accessible to activate as many activists as possible. Best luck with your ongoing efforts to build a better world, neighbor! ☮️ 💙 🍀 🍭
