@va3db I read that yesterday - very odd "response" in that it was basically a shoulder shrug and "we'll miss it too".

From the title i was hopeful they'd engaged with government on it, or were pitching to take it over (imagine!) or ... Something.

@va3db speaking of taking it over, though, I wonder if the radio assets will eventually show up on the government surplus site.
@scott There are a lot of repeater sites that could colocate these radios. It would be a great service to continue. Not everyone has sat gear for Internet in the wild camping etc.
@va3db The interesting bit is I think some of the radios were in fact co-located with repeater sites. I don't have any link or info to substantiate that, but I'm fairly sure I read it somewhere.
