@Daojoan Here in the UK, because of the stranglehold the national government has on local council budgets, local roads tend to be shit. The local councils are responsible for fixing some roads, but don't have the funds to do so.

My point is, taxes aren't allocated effectively here, and that's probably true for a lot of other places around the world.

So I'm quite happy to pay my taxes, and say the roads are shit, with no hypocrisy.
