You can tell the difference because when it comes to opinions, people don't typically fly off the handle.
An opinion is whether mustard is a valid condiment for a hot-dog -- and of what type. It's whether Rush has put out a good album since Grace Under Pressure. It's whether pineapple belongs on pizza.
An opinion does not cover whether life-saving treatment should be provided to infants, or if a certain classification of human beings should be denied basic rights. That's just hate and fear masquerading as a 'social issue'.

No no rest assured that we DO care about that particular thing, way more than for more serious stuff 8-D

You poor thing ;-)
@useravoiding
You had been warned πππ
@Daojoan Wow. That thoroughly encapsulates the issues I had with my mother before I had to go no-contact with her to preserve my sanity.
My favourite was... "Germany has no electricity at night because they have too many solar panels."
We have family in Germany. But she couldn't bother to call our cousins to ask. Instead, she started screaming "Why can't you just accept the things that I believe?"
In retrospect, my answer of "Because it's bullshit?" was NOT the answer she was looking for.
