een running for almost a decade but until last week, I’d never done the full length of Beaver Hill Road, even though it’s less than a mile from my house.

Probably due to the fact that whichever direction, it involves a long steep down followed by a long steep up.

Done it both ways now!

@NigelNotNeil I know, there is not much of the North of England that isn't hilly. Even the Cheshire plains are besieged by a ring of hills
