Yes. It was not Gaza. It was never about Gaza. It is funny how people keep harping about genocide in Gaza but are silent on what #Hamas did in al-Aqsa Flood Operation. #Hamas ran a mafia organization inside Gaza preventing real democracy and freedom of expression.
Not ignoring the role that Israel played in building up #Hamas as an opponent to Fatah. Whatever bad #Israel is doing in #Gaza, #Hamas has done worse.

A land without people for people without land was and still remains fundamentally flawed. And possibly fatally. So is the project of greater #Israel. The instances of Israeli settler violence against Occupied West Bank and Occupied Gaza are appalling.
This does not justify #Oct7. #Hamas and its ilks carried out a medieval barbaric, inhuman murder of people. #Hamas has to be held accountable for its role in causing the suffering of Gaza.
@hiphopheaven @dangillmor Because of what happened on #Oct7. I refuse to equate the victim with the perpetrator. #Israel will have to account for its crimes. But those crimes do not justify #Oct7.
Prior to #Oct7 there were no Israeli troops in Gaza. Gaza was not a rubble. Now #Gaza has #Israeli troops and is a rubble thanks to al-Aqsa Flood operation.
What #Hamas, #IslamicJihad and their cohorts have done is set back the emergence of a Palestine state by decades.
